Hakee is an app that turns PDF files into audio. By using the app, you agree to these terms.
2. Subscription and page balance
Subscriptions are monthly and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period.
Payment is made through your Apple or Google account, and you cancel from the store's settings.
Each plan includes a number of pages per month. The balance renews at the start of each month and does not roll over.
A page is counted only once per file and voice. Replaying a page you've already heard is free.
Extra pages are a one-time purchase and are used within the month they were bought.
3. Your content
Your files are yours, and they stay yours.
You are responsible for having the right to upload a file and turn it into audio.
Uploading illegal content or content that infringes others' rights is not allowed.
You grant Hakee a limited permission to process your file for one purpose: turning it into audio for you.
4. Fair use
The service is for personal use. Reselling the generated audio, using it to produce commercial content, or trying to bypass page limits by technical means is not allowed.
5. Refunds
Refunds follow Apple's or Google's policy, since purchases are made with them. We're happy to help you contact them if needed.
6. Service interruptions
We work to keep the service available, but it may pause temporarily for maintenance or reasons beyond our control. If it is unavailable for a long period, we'll compensate you with extra pages or subscription time.
7. Limitation of liability
The service is provided as is. Pronunciation accuracy varies with file quality, especially for scanned files. We are not responsible for any decision you make based on content read by an automated voice.
8. Ending use
You can stop using the app and delete your files at any time. We reserve the right to suspend an account that violates these terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
